Plan & Test Your Order Fulfillment and Shipping

Okay, so orders start coming in through the website. Well you need to have a process in place for receiving and fulfilling customer orders. Mainly you first want to ask yourself a couple of basic and important questions:

Who's responsible for the order?

Some body's got to accept responsibility for making sure the order is being filled!

Who's preparing it for shipping?

Some body's got to put in in a box, label it, and interface with the shipper!

These fundamental things are often overlooked or not planned well enough in advance. Make sure your organization is ready to stand behind what you are advertising on the website. Have you process in place, do test runs!
